The DNA of → Werner Ehrhardt and → l’arte del mondo is characterized by historically informed performance practice, but it does not stop there. Ehrhardt and his ensemble often venture into contrasting and diverse → programs abound with artistic curiosity, such as musical-intercultural encounters, opera projects, exhumations of forgotten works and → CD productions.
For Ehrhardt and his orchestra, intensive artistic process and difficulties in various areas therein are not challenges, but a logical conclusion of understanding music. The ensemble does so with great passion and proximity to the audience so that the music inspires, touches and connects.
